The Truth and The Lie
The Luciferian Tactic
The Lie often slips in under the cover of a truth. The cover of a very powerful truth gives the lie a holy sanctification that is never questioned. The origin of the word Lucifer points to the power of this tactic of Evil to penetrate our world. Lucifer is the “Light Bearer” but he only shines light on 1/2 the truth. To disable this “Luciferian” tactic focus on the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth as we navigate this world. Not one element or tactic can be based on a lie.
This is a powerful tool in our guilt ridden age of The Victim. Watch a few TV commercials; they are all linked to “guilt strategies”. Some of the most destructive products of our time are cloaked in the holiest of causes. One of the most striking is the linkage of oil companies and environmental Stewardship. The gravitational power of human desire is strong. One of those most powerful desires is the desire to “appear” holy. The environmental angle in Exxon commercials seeks holiness and our political process, for the right temple donations, will grant that holiness.
My mother passed away on election day 2020. Leading up to her passing I spent time in two different Catholic Churches. One near my home and the other near my mother’s nursing home. Sitting on a table, near the chapel, at the church near my home were a number of pamphlets explaining why catholics needed to vote for Donald Trump. The pamphlet made clear pro-life arguments. The Church near my mother’s nursing home had literature on why Catholics need to vote for Joe Biden. The pamphlets made clear social justice arguments. These two issues have married a truth to a lie and penetrated deeply into hearts and minds of many Catholics.
The lie at the bottom of both of these issues is the same. The Lie is that the government, an institution, or a ministry will manage or impose morality. The truth: morality comes with the conversion of the human heart. I will rely on a probably poor conveying of Ivan Illich’s interpretation of the parable of the Good Samaritan. The question in the parable is who is my neighbor. After the priest and the levite, both institutional representatives, ignored the victim the samaritan acted. We are to act as individuals not rely on institutions, or use our institutional roles as an excuse. It is through us, as individuals, that the Divine Will flows. This is not something we can delegate to an institution, or hold someone else to account. That is a Lie.

I do believe since we live in this world, we need to discern right action without the ironclad guarantee that our choice to vote fir or where to put our donations will be right , or that someone else will be wrong . Lucifer is doaminng and infiltrating ourr best efforts , but i trusst that my God , and your God is stronger than death (ie lucifer)
